If Republican Presidential candidate John McCain losses the election, he deserves it. I know his new “gloves-off” approach is showing an effect, but I think it’s too late. I’ve been disappointed in McCain the last few weeks.

I thought he showed good leadership by suspending his campaign and going to Washington to be a Senator, the job we pay him to do. I thought he showed good judgment by not supporting the original bailout plan, but it all went downhill from there.

The new bailout plan is worse than the original one. Not only that, it is full of earmarks, and unnecessary spending. John McCain has been saying that he will not sign a bill that had earmarks, and if anyone votes for a bill with earmarks, he’ll “make them famous.”

John McCain also made the decision to remove his staff and resources out of Michigan. There’s nothing wrong with that, but to make it public was a big mistake. You didn’t hear anything when Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama pulled out of Alaska, Georgia, Nebraska, and Arkansas.

I don’t know what to think anymore, and I’m scared there’s a lot of people out there that feel like I do. McCain’s only chance to get a bump in the polls with 30 days to go, is his town hall style debate he has with Obama on October 7. That’s the forum he’s most comfortable in. That’s why he requested he and Obama travel around the country, and do 10 town hall meetings, but Obama refused.

Both the Democrat and the Republican nominees decided to take their gloves off with 30 days to go, but Barack has a nice lead in the polls. McCain has turned up the heat, and started attacking Barack Obama for his radical ties to some controversial people. Although, I think it’s legitimate to do so, why didn’t he do this weeks ago?
